Philly Considering More Inspectors as Illegal Building Plagues City

The Philadelphia Department of Licenses and Inspections is considering funding for 10 new inspectors in the wake of an uptick in illegal building activity and collapses. So reports the Philadelphia Tribune.

Presently, the Audits and Inspections unit only has two on staff. Illegal construction has done more damage in 2019 than in years past, with three incidents already on record.
