Efforts to transform a former furniture building in the South Bronx have been stunted by ongoing fire safety concerns. So reports DNA Info.
The building, planned by Boom!Health and intended for opeing in January 2016, is expected to include space for an LGBT health center along with an HIV/AIDS prevention program and a cafe. Remediating the fire safety issues, including function of alarms and sprinkler systems, will push the opening back to Summer 2016.
