Iowa Gov. Helps Unveil Endowment to Attract Construction Workers

Master Builders of Iowa, a trade association representing construction contractors, is establishing a $5 million endowment to help bring workers into construction trade fields. So reports News 7 KWWL.

The group represents industrial, commercial and public works contractors and created a board to fund projects that will introduce adults and students to carpentry, plumbing, electrical and welding work. The initiative was announced by the group alongside Iowa Gov. Kim Reynolds.
