70-Story Residential Highrise Could Be Queens’ New Tallest Building

Long Island City may play host to one of the largest buildings in New York outside of Manhattan. So reports The New York Business Journal.

A proposed 70-story residential highrise stretching close to 700 feet could be part of a potential waterfront rezoning of the Anable Basin. If completed, it would unseat the Citigroup Building as Queens tallest. The skyscraper and surrounding buildings, which includes a 700-seat public school, will sit on close to 15 acres of land.
