Newly revised guidelines from the Facilities Guidelines Institute identify six factors that affects noise and vibration. So reports BDC Network.

It’s important for builders to pay attention because these factors have a way of making their way into state healthcare facility building codes. The revised guidelines apply to: site exterior noise, acoustic finishes, room noise and related coefficients, sound isolation and speech privacy, alarms, and vibration.
