American Architectural Manufacturer Association Updates Standards for Thermal Performance

The Architectural Manufacturers Association has released an updated uniform standard method for assessing thermal performance of fenestrations systems in commercial buildings.

The last update was made in 2012. The document covers fenestration systems, which impacts building energy use, and includes windows, curtain walls, window walls, storefronts, doors and other glazed products. The new standard has been changed to a ‘Fenestration Product Rating Certificate’.
