Mass. Mayors Pledge to Boost Construction Amid Housing Crisis

The mayors of 15 municipalities near Boston agreed to accelerate home construction projects to combat the region's housing crisis. So reports The Boston Globe.

The goal is to add 185,000 new houses by 2030. The plan calls for a growth rate more than triple what it's been in the last decade. Some residents have expressed concerns, though, about increased traffic and the impact the construction will have on schools.
