It makes sense to think that construction crews working on tall buildings are at greater potential risk for injury and other hazards compared to crews on low-height buildings. But, that's not exactly the case in NYC where less stringent regulations for buildings under 10 stories are resulting in injuries and even deaths at job sites. So reports the Commercial Observer.

In an effort to modernize and clarify standards provisions, the Occupational Safety and Health Administration is proposing a slew of changes to areas ranging from record keeping to construction standards.
