A long history of litigation between the Northwest Florida Beaches International Airport Authority and KBR construction management company resumed in a civil court. The dispute is over breach of contract and millions of dollars of tax breaks. So reports the Panama City New Herald.  

Attorneys for the airport authority aim to show KBR breached their contract on both quality assurance and attaining tax breaks for their materials. The argument holds that KBR, as outlined in the contract, was the central agent of the construction project and thus responsible “as if they are the owner.” As far as the tax breaks are concerned, the claim maintains that KBR overlooked over 1 million dollars worth of eligible taxbreaks for the project.
