Autodesk BIM 360 Docs allows users to quickly navigate all project docs, 2D plans and 3D models in the office or the field in a single PDF and model viewer, optimized for mobile devices, the company announced in a recent press release.
Unveiled in mid-November at Autodesk University in Las Vegas, the comprehensive, cloud-based service provides a virtual workspace to create, access, maintain, markup and share documents pertinent to the efficient construction project management. The service, which is slated for a formal release early in 2016, aims to streamline the “tangled web of…document management that can lead to inefficiency and raise risks on construction projects.”
An introduction to the software and free virtual training will be available soon. You can sign up for a free preview here.
