Earlier this year, OSHA issued new "Confined Spaces in Construction" standard (29 CFR 1926 - Subpart AA) that included new provisions that differ significantly from their general industry standard for confined space entry.

The changes include critical new roles for general contractors, sub-contractors and property owners. To expedite understanding of the new regulation, OSHA Training Services has posted a free online tutorial "Identifying Confined Spaces on Construction Sites.” Employers may also request a live, on-site training or a DIY Training Kit.
