Jaquan Smith, a 21-year-old Bronx construction worker, was shot in the head and died at the Bronx-Lebanon Hospital. So reports The New York Daily News.

Lamel Evans, 17, was charged with the murder after being taken into custody on suspicion of a separate offense. Smith was working on a new building on building on 104th St. and Park Ave., which is across from his home. Police believe the shooting took place at Selwyn Ave. and E. 172nd St. in Claremont.
