Greg Barkley, a construction site foreman in Arizona, helped subdue a man who apparently lunged at an off-duty police officer by summoning his martial arts background. So reports KITV4, an ABC affiliate.
Absent handcuffs, the foreman and his construction crew bound the suspect, Dieter Bradford Klofkorn, using duct tape. Allegedly, Klofkorn tried to take the officer's weapon and even got it halfway out of its holster. Barkley studied martial arts, including Brazilian ju-jitsu, for the past four years.
