According to reports, President Trump’s administration is considering a 25% tariff on more than $200 billion in Chinese goods including maple, ash, beech and plywood. So reports The New York Times.

The increased tariffs, if imposed, could also impact furniture, bedding, doors and charcoal. The threat of an increased tariff, however, may be a negotiating tactic aimed at gaining leverage over the Chinese.
