After field inspections and complaints, construction on the Mountain Valley Pipeline was suspended in Virginia. So reports The Franklin News-Post.

There were approximately 35 complaints with respect to tree clearings, runoff and dust, according to a Virginia Department of Environmental Quality spokesman. Nearby landowners had expressed concerns about environmental precautions. There is no timetable for work to resume.
