The Ox, a specially designed flatpack truck slated to be used in outreach programs in developing nations, will begin pre-production for use in India. So reports The Verge.
Oil company Shell announced it commissioned a prototype of the slab-sided truck, which was developed by philanthropist Torquil Norman and South African engineer Gordon Murray. It can be broken down by three people in 12 hours, making it easy to ship to developing nations where it can carry water, building materials and fertilizer among other necessities.
