Prefab builder Katerra unveiled plans to expand in 2019 with the opening of six new plants. So reports Building Design + Construction

One of the factories being built in Spokane, WA, will be a 250,000 square foot plant that will produce 4.6 million cubic feet of cross-laminated timber each year. Demand for this material is expected to rise among contractors and developers as a result of scheduled changes to the International Building Code.
