The American Society of Sanitary Engineers will offer Infection Control Training & Certification for plumbers, pipe and sprinkler fitters, demolition laborers, and other technical system workers. So reports Contractor.
The training will be offered for the first time at the ASSE International Conference this Nov 7-10 in San Antonio, TX. The program combines in-person and online training on disease origins and how disease spreads, proper use of personal protection equipment, how to prevent the spread of contaminants, and the roles of different agencies in the health, safety and environmental sectors.
Before enrolling, participants must have successfully completed an OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 class.
