Just when you thought you knew how to market your company, along came social media and the millenials!
How do you reach these consumers when you’re from a different generation and your tried-and-true print and direct mail campaigns are no longer effective? If you can’t hire a media company to manage your social, you should at least learn the basics and engage the support (or even the know-how) of your own employees to help grow your social presence.
These tips will help get your social engine up and running:
- Post regularly, but not repetitively
- Don't try to do too much
- Show before and after shots of your work
- Get your friends and family to follow you and help spread the word
- Respond to both positive and negative comments from customers
