The CONSTRUCT Conference combines educational opportunities with practical, real-world, product and service solutions for your business success. Held September 7-9, 2016 in Austin, TX, this event focuses on institutional, industrial and commercial building industry. Programs include an accredited education program; exhibit hall floor filled with the latest services, products and technologies; and extensive networking opportunities. In conjunction with the CSI Annual Convention, the event is coupled with technical tours, activities and special events.

The World Energy Engineering Congress (WEEC) held this year in Washington, DC from September 21-22, the event is regarded as the most important energy event of national and international scope for end users and energy professionals. A comprehensive forum provides you with knowledge and resources on how economic and market forces, technologies, regulatory, and industry trends shape the decisions your business needs to focus on. Topics include, but are not limited to:

The Green Build International Conference & Expo (PDF) has planned an iconic weekend of events in Los Angeles this October 5-7. Celebrating this theme, the event will feature the people, and resources “who are working in the trenches today, and those who are in line to take up the banner and lead the way into the future.” From the exhibit hall and education sessions to the special events and green building tours in iconic southern California communities, this is sure to be one of the hottest green industry events of the year. In addition to technologies, management tools, and other resources, special topics and programs include women in the industry; finance and operations; sustainability in entertainment and event venues; the neuroscience of green design; future design with water and other alternative sources; food and grocery green design; and green cleaning at the Googleplex.

The Building Envelope Technology Symposium takes place this year in Houston, TX the weekend of October 17-18. The 2-day symposium will feature cutting-edge information and resources regarding design, construction, maintenance and repair of modern and/or older building envelopes. With an open, inclusive environment, attendees have ample opportunity to ask questions and engage in relevant dialogue about their projects. Learning formats include case-studies, examples and discussion of real-world problems and their solutions, and opportunities for interaction with instructors during and following the symposium.

The CitiesAlive: 14th Annual Green Roof & Wall Conference takes place in Washington, DC from November 1-4, 2016. This year, the event will highlight advancements in living architecture design; research and policy; and there will be a special focus on stormwater management. Presentations and workshops will explore the science behind green roof and wall performance and how these technologies are enabling designers to meet municipal stormwater management requirements.
