Idaho Developers Fighting Rising Costs

Local professionals have reported rising costs for both labor and materials, which are crushing budgets and causing delays. So reports the Idaho Press.

One project, slated to cost $9.3 million to complete, is already $800,000 shy after only half a year. Nampa City councilman and small architecture firm owner Randy Haverfield said supply and demand restrictions have driven up prices. Due to the increases, fewer contractors are finishing projects on time, or even making bids in the first place.
