Next Phase of Tampa Airport Project Calls for $300M+ in Upgrades

Tampa International Airport is expecting to expand on its $971 million construction upgrade with another $184 million expansion of its main terminal and $120 million relocation of the airport's energy plant. So reports The Tampa Bay Times.

That design contract is being negotiated with Hensel Phelps Construction and a contract is expected to be finalized by the fall of 2019. If negotiations break down with Hensel Phelps Construction, negotiations with the Clark Construction Group will commence.
