Nominations are being accepted now through January, 27, 2017 for 8 new members to serve on OSHA's 15-member Advisory Committee on Construction Safety and Health.

Representation is needed for the following groups: employee (3 seats), employer (3 seats), public (1) and state safety and health agency (1).

Submit nominations at www.regulations.gov, the Federal eRulemaking Portal. An upcoming committee meeting will take place November 30-December 1, 2016 in D.C. The agenda will include updates to clarify requiremens in the crane standard, emergency management and National Safety Stand-down. The assistant secretary of labor for occupational safety will also speak at the meeting.
