The American Institute of Architects released data from its survey of leading architects regarding the top trends in nonresidential building design.
Topping the list for the coming decade is water conservation along with solar and wind power generation. Also significant to future design will be automated lighting systems, emerging technology for safety and energy efficiency, BIM, use of drones and gaming technology.
