San Juan Landaverde-Olvera died after a pile of plywood fell on him at a San Rafael construction site. So reports the Marin Independent Journal.
Landaverde-Olvera was working at a six-home development on Fair Drive when the incident occurred. He was sitting on lumber leaning against the plywood prior to the incident. The Marin County coroner’s bureau and the California Division of Occupational Safety and Health are investigating the death.
