Going paperless may seem like a hassle and may feel like you’re putting too much power in the hands of too many employees. However, for state Department of Transportation offices around the country, embracing technology through e-construction platforms is yielding greater productivity and efficiency.
A recent survey by Pavia Systems analyzed the impact of e-construction among state transportation agencies and industry vendors and consultants. The results showed use of e-construction technologies made employees feel more empowered, improved on-time deliveries and project completion, and helped projects stay on budget.
